| The Sony
Center Berlin is more than just another office and shopping complex: it's part of
the Potsdamer Platz, the new
city center of Berlin. The Forum
in the center and its unique wing-roof is a popular place to meet, eat and relax. While
the 94 meter high Bahn Tower on the east of the complex is an easy to see
landmark, another part of the building hides a less visible secret: it combines the new
building with the old Esplanade Hotel that was nearly destroyed during the Second
World War and was a center for the Berlin society in the twenties. |
